The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology offers consultation to women who are either approaching or have had their menopause. In order to deal with unpleasant symptoms associated with menopause, the consultants evaluate the patients with necessary examination and tests for starting them on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Counseling regarding risks and benefits of HRT is conducted based on clinical history, examination and current needs of the woman. Compliance with follow-ups is crucial for woman who has been suggested HRT.
