Diploma in Dental Hygiene
The Diploma in Dental Hygiene (DDH) is a two-year programme. This field of study is well-established in developed countries and is gaining much momentum in developing countries, particularly considering the high rates of oral diseases.
The programme combines classroom and clinical coursework necessary to become a dental hygienist. It includes courses in liberal arts, basic sciences and clinical sciences. for details, please refer to the programme information booklet.
The University encourages young men and women who enjoy working with people, have good interpersonal skills and are interested in helping others prevent oral diseases so as to maintain good health, to apply and make a career as a dental hygienist.

Dental hygienists will have opportunities to work in a variety of settings including hospitals, educational institutions, public health clinics and private dental clinics.
