Accommodation, both on-campus and off-campus, for outstation undergraduate students is arranged in hostels managed by the University. These hostels provide single and shared, non-air-conditioned, furnished accommodation and a limited number of twin sharing flats for women. Preference in room allocation is given to those from outside Karachi. The women's hostel is situated at the University campus.
Due to limited on-campus accommodation, male students joining the graduate programmes may need to make their own living arrangements. The Housing Department of Aga Khan University may be approached for assistance if required. Female students joining the graduate programmes may apply for on-campus accommodation.
A fee is charged for all on-campus accommodation. Single room charges are Rs 7,000 per month, payable in advance. Female BScN students who share a flat are charged Rs 7,000 per student per month, payable in advance. Meals may be purchased separately from the University's cafeteria and tuck shop.
All students living in the hostels are expected to conform to rules and regulations. Residence is conditional upon proper use and care of the property, considerate behaviour and periodic reappraisal of the student's need for such accommodation.
