He is currently leading the Surgical ICU as Director. He is rigorously involved in infection control projects in the ICU in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University. His special interest includes healthcare quality and healthcare outcomes. Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this educational activity, the participant should be able to:
- Know the importance of quality in a healthcare setting
- Appreciate the use of simple and time-tested models for quality improvement
