​The Centre of English Language (CEL) of Aga Khan University provides extensive language learning facilities to the University’s students and employees. In addition, CEL offers short courses and workshops for external clients in a wide range of areas related to English language education. Equipped with modern language learning resources, the Centre also provides consultancy services. 

Course Description
This 18-hour course is designed for postgraduate scholars, students and professionals who wish to write research papers. It will introduce the participants to academic research skills and the process of documentation of research papers. Participants will be introduced to the rhetoric and textual development of research writing so as to produce a succinct abstract, pertinent introduction, critical analysis and synthesis of relevant literature, application of adequate methodology and thematic findings and results. They will also learn the APA formatting style and structure.
