| | Details | The Centre of English Language (CEL) of Aga Khan University provides extensive language learning facilities to the University’s students and employees. In addition, CEL offers short courses and workshops for external clients in a wide range of areas related to English language education. Equipped with modern language learning resources, the Centre also provides consultancy services.
Course Description The course introduces a range of useful technology-related skills and tools which are immediately applicable to the language classroom both online and face-to-face, course participants learn about various approaches to using technology in the classroom and are given the opportunity to practice using them during the course.
Course Structure The course will be delivered entirely online over seven weeks, with a total of 30 hours work for participants. They are expected to spend approximately four hours per week online doing individual, pair and collaborative group work, including offline reading and reflection. Deadlines for task completion are weekly and participants can log on at any point during the week to work on the course. There are no 'fixed' times to be online.
