| | Details | The course aims to develop a cadre of teachers/teacher educators in literacy development by providing them an opportunity to explore and use integrated approaches of reading and writing that can facilitate children’s literacy development at the classroom. Learning Outcomes:
- Establish an understanding of ECED concepts.
- Enhance understanding of how children learn to read and write in early years.
- Enhance understanding curriculum related to literacy development in early childhood education.
- Enhance understanding of pedagogy, learning environments and materials to effectively support children’s early literacy development.
- Enhance reflective thinking and practice skills.
