Social accountability in Health professions Education is the obligation to direct education, research and service activities towards addressing priority health concerns at the community, national and regional level.

This theme has been chosen for the PGME conference 2013 to help trainees, trainers and institutions providing health care, understand health care in the context of disparities and health inequalities that we are facing. This year’s conference will address the theme at different levels to provide cross cutting approaches in addressing this problem.
