Project Director, Principal Campus in East Africa
The Project Director, Arusha Campus (the principal campus in East Africa) will be accountable for the overall planning and implementation of the project. This responsibility entails preparation of a Campus Development Plan, coordination with the academic and campus life planning groups, development and adherence to the project budget, selection, technical evaluation and implementation of site(s) for the campus where the project will be developed, and appointing consultants and contractors for the project.
Prior to joining AKU, Mr Nasir Peerani, Project Director, Principal Campus in East Africa, was a Partner for Project & Construction Management at Panalta Project Incorporation and President and Director of Farena Investments Limited in Alberta, Canada. Mr Peerani has over four decades of experience in the engineering field, specialising in Project and Construction Management for the last ten years. He is a member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (MIEE), United Kingdom.
