Transforming Health Professionals' Education
Strengthening Health Systems in an Interdependent World
The theme of this conference is Eastern Africa’s response to the Lancet Global Health report, “Health professionals for a new century, Transforming education to strengthen health systems in an interdependent world,” also called the Frenk Report.
The conference will bring together health professionals, representatives from health educational institutions and professional regulatory bodies to debate how transformative and inter-professional education could be supported by political systems, educational institutions and practitioners from across the world with a focus on the East African environment.
The conference will also mark the launch of the Eastern Africa Health Professions' Educators Association (EAHPEA).
