Communication is central to nursing. Reverend Dr. Peter Draper will lead a discussion on the impact of nurses’ language in relation to older people.
Dr. Peter is an Associate Professor in Nursing with a particular interest in the care of older people in hospitals and nursing homes at the University of Hull in the United Kingdom. He is also a University Teaching Fellow. Dr. Peter also writes on spirituality and was part of the team investigating the spirituality of contemporary funerals, and has recently written on spiritual assessment.
