The University offers residency programme in 28 clinical specialties. All programmes under the purview of College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan have been accredited for fellowship examination of the College. Residency programmes currently offered by the University are:

Residency programmes in Family Medicine, General Surgery, Internal Medicine and Paediatrics are also approved for Fellowships from the Royal Colleges of Edinburgh and Glasgow and the programme in Obstetrics and Gynaecology is approved for Fellowship by the Royal College of England.
