Objectives of the Seminar

This seminar will focus on various aspects of vaccine research and development and their potential significance for Pakistan. The main objectives of this seminar will be to:

  • Discuss the global epidemiology and public health significance of vaccines in child health;
  • Provide an insight into the newly emerging field of Biotechnology with special relevance to   vaccine development;
  • Upgrade the knowledge and refine skills in the vaccine related microbiology research;
  • Provide a forum to the participants to exchange views and discuss a blue print for vaccine development and research in Pakistan.
