Saudi Deputy
Minister for Health visits Aga Khan University

| Dr
Obeid Suleman Al-Obeid, Saudi Deputy Minister for Health, being
shown the Bio-Safety Level II laboratory at Juma Building, by
Zulfiqar Naqvi, a senior research officer at AKU. With state-of-the-art
equipment, and the sophisticated Bio-Safety Level III laboratory,
the Juma Building is the first of its type of research facility
in Pakistan. This facility promotes research and attracts research-oriented
faculty to the University. Dr Ashfaq Ahmed, Deputy Director
General Health, Ministry of Health, Islamabad, accompanied the
Saudi Minister of Healthi. |

his visit to AKU, Dr Obeid Suleman Al-Obeid, Saudi Deputy Minister
for Health, is interacting with students at the Multidisciplinary
Laboratory at the University's Medical College. Dr Obeid Suleman
took keen interest in the facility and exchanged ideas on various
areas of mutual interest. |
