Your registration on an AKU-ISMC course will be subject to the following terms and conditions. By submitting an application to AKU-ISMC you agree to abide by these conditions:

1. Final admission is subject to the receipt of payment of full course fees.
2. AKU-ISMC reserves the right to cancel any course which does not recruit a viable number of students. In this case a full refund will be made.
3. Regular attendance is essential in order to make progress with your course. If you are required to withdraw due to medical reasons, you should notify AKU-ISMC as soon as possible. You must attend 80% of the courses to be eligible for a Certificate of Attendance.
4. AKU-ISMC will endeavor to ensure course dates published are not changed, but reserves the right to alter times/dates in the case of unforeseen circumstances. If you are unable to attend at the new times/dates arranged for the course, a full refund will be given.
5. AKU-ISMC reserves the right to cancel a class if the tutor is absent due to unavoidable circumstances. If a class has to be cancelled, the tutor will arrange a replacement class at a time suitable to the majority of students. No refunds will be made in the event of some course participants being unable to attend at the rearranged time.
6. AKU-ISMC reserves the right to change fees and charges without notice.
7. All bank charges are the responsibility of the student.
8. AKU-ISMC does not accept responsibility for any losses or expenses incurred due to student participation in the course, however caused.
9. All refunds before the start of the course must be requested in writing and are paid as follows:
   • up to one month before the start of the course: full refund
   • up to one week before the start of the course: 50% refund
   • start of the course onwards : no refund
10. Refunds are not normally paid after the start of a course. Any request made after this date should be made in writing to the Lead Faculty, Professional Education Unit, AKU-ISMC and must be related to extenuating circumstances beyond your control and supported by appropriate proof. All refunds are subject to an administrative fee of £20.
