Class of 2008 Student Profiles
 

Chorshanbe Goibnazarov completed his undergraduate degree in Tajik Language and Literature from Khorog State University, Tajikistan and then continued his studies in English language and computer skills through the Khorog English Programme. His academic interests include cultural studies and the sociological approaches to the study of Muslim cultures in contemporary society, with a particular focus on cultures of minority ethnic groups. Prior to joining the Institute, Chorshanbe worked as an English facilitator for the Aga Khan Health Services. Chorshanbe who is from Tajikistan, speaks English, Russian, Shugni, Tajik and Wakhi; he enjoys travelling, reading, playing chess and listening to traditional folk music.
