Short Courses

The Institute’s certificate and short courses focus on meeting specific needs and developing expertise in particular areas. Through these professional development initiatives, the Institute seeks to have an impact in a variety of arenas. Audiences, both past and planned, include diplomats and government decision and policy-makers, teachers and other relevant educators, journalists and others in the field of media and communications and lawyers.

To date, AKU-ISMC has offered certificate courses for teachers in Pakistan as well as a number of courses for diplomats in Canada and Germany.

From 2008, AKU-ISMC will offer a series of general survey courses as well as more focused courses, exploring specific topics in depth. For more information about the Institute's planned survey and focused courses, please click here.
