Short Course and Workshops

Centre of English Language's (CEL) short courses and workshops, offered in specialised areas of English language to external clients, aim at enhancing the language proficiency of participants and improving their performance in academic and professional settings. Courses are offered in the areas of English for Specific Purposes (ESP), English as a Second or Foreign Language (ESL/EFL), English Language Teaching (ELT) and English for business purposes. CEL also offers tailor-made courses and workshops to institutions and corporations, based on their requirements and needs assessment.

Schedule and details for the courses offered from March to July 2008 are listed below. Please note that classes commence on Saturdays only from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

General English Language Proficiency Course (GELP) - 36 hours

Fee: PKR 4,000

Business English Course - 36 hours
May 3 - June 7, 2008
Last date for registration: April 28, 2008
Fee: PKR 10,900

Application forms can be collected from and submitted to Aga Khan University, Student Affairs Admission Office, East Reception Window (Aga Khan University School of Nursing) from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM-12:30 PM or downloaded from here. For TESL and ESP courses, please download the undertaking for HEC candidates form also.
