Short Course and Workshops

Centre of English Language's short courses and workshops, offered in specialised areas of English language to external clients, aim at enhancing the language proficiency of participants and improving their performance in academic and professional settings. Courses are offered in the areas of English for Specific Purposes (ESP), English as a Second or Foreign Language (ESL/EFL), English Language Teaching (ELT) and English for business purposes. CEL also offers tailor-made courses and workshops to institutions and corporations, based on their requirements and needs assessment.

Schedule and details for the courses offered from May to July 2009 are listed below. Please note that classes commence on Saturdays only from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Business English - 36 hours

General English Language Proficiency Course (GELP) - 36 hours

A Training Course in TEFL - 36 hours
June 20 – July 25, 2009
Last date for registration: June 15, 2009
Fee: Rs 10,500

Application forms can be collected from and submitted to Academic Administration at Institute for Educational Development, 1-5/B-VII, Federal B. Area, Karimabad, Karachi from Monday to Friday between 10:00 am – 12:00 pm or 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm or downloaded from here.
