School/College Health Awareness Programmes
 The children, adolescents and young adults of our
country are the most important and vulnerable segment
of the population. Their protection is our prime responsibility.
Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) reaches out to
this population through its School and College Health
Awareness campaign. The campaign consists of health
awareness lectures by AKUH credentialed faculty on
health issues relevant to this age group. Health Quiz
is also conducted as a part of the session in which
students giving correct answers are awarded prizes.
Health information literature is distributed among
all participants.
 AKUH conducts over 25 sessions every year, and the
average participation in these programmes ranges from
150-200 students.
