Patient Admission Process
The Private Wing Room
As you will be spending a considerable amount of time
in your room, special care and attention has gone into
creating a relaxed atmosphere. Your room will either
overlook beautiful and serene lakes or the lush, evergreen,
landscaped gardens (With your doctor's approval and
after notifying the nurse, you can visit the hospital
ground, accompanied by an attendant. Wheelchairs are
available from the nursing staff on request).
- Each room is designed to provide maximum privacy.
There is a fully-equipment attached bathroom;
- The entire Private Wing is air-conditioned. Regulators
are provided in each room to control temperatures;
- Over-bed table can be adjusted for reading, writing
and eating. Its fold-away mirror can be used for
shaving or personal grooming;
- A call button besides your bed. A communication
panel provides voice communication with the nursing
station on the floor;
- An emergency nurse call button in the bathroom.
This is to ensure prompt assistance at all times.
The bathroom door can be opened from outside, in
case of an emergency. You nurse will show you how
to use it;
- Television and satellite transmission;
- You
have a bedside telephone (You will have a bedside
telephone. Dial ‘0' for local calls. The charges
will be automatically billed to your room. For
international calls, dial ‘9' for the operator.
Token and card operated telephones are located
throughout the Hospital. Tokens maybe purchased
from the Information Booth. If calling from outside,
you can reach the required extension by adding
486 and then the extension. For example, if you
wish to speak to the Admissions office, Ext. 2000,
then dial 486 2000).
