Patient Satisfaction Surveys

Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) prioritises the health care needs of patients and tries to provide them with quality care. To monitor its services, AKUH quality control team conducts patient satisfaction surveys every month on a sample of 10 per cent of total patients admitted at the time of the survey each unit for big units, and 50 per cent of total patients admitted at the time of survey for small units. The results of the survey are communicated to the management forum for monitoring the quality index and to the staff for improving their care. The Division of Nursing does the follow up with the nursing managers to resolve any concerns or complaints raised by the patients.
