CME Programmes
For the benefit of referring physicians and their patients, we regularly organise Continuing Medical Education (CME) seminars and workshops, as well as health awareness programmes for the general public.
These programmes are designed to provide a current, practical update on the management of medical problems faced by primary care physicians and specialists. The series deals with specific clinical topics through a problem oriented and multidisciplinary approach, encouraging self-evaluation and practical learning. International teleconferences are being regularly organised in the various subspecialities. The University holds a series of "Guest Lectures" by eminent speakers from within and outside the country.
Aga Khan University Hospital's public health awareness programme "Signs, Symptoms and Care" increases awareness for timely diagnosis of health problems. The series provides an excellent opportunity for the patients, their families and the public at large, to educate themselves with various disease prevention and treatment options.
