Professional Development ICT Course of Intel at AKU

Getting Started at AKU-EB, Karachi - November 17-20, 2007

Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) is committed towards improving the quality of education and also in supporting teachers to maximise both the teaching and the
learning experience in their classrooms. In partnership with Intel Pakistan it facilitated a Professional Development ICT workshop known as Getting Started Course for the
teachers of its affiliated schools.

Intel Getting Started Course incorporated elements of traditional teacher-centred instruction along with elements of 21st century, student-centred instruction. The course participants now act as Master Trainers and/or Resource persons in their schools and further cascade the training to other teachers.
