May 2007-Examination Session
Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) conducted its first SSC Composite Examinations in May 2007 at 22 locations across Pakistan.
Examination papers were prepared keeping in mind the medium of instruction at each of the 60 participating schools. At any examination centre, candidates were able to attempt the same paper either in English or Urdu.
Candidates were given a choice of 18 subjects including the compulsory and electives. Each theory paper had two components based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) as well as Constructed Response Questions (CRQs). Candidates listening skills were assessed both in English and Urdu examinations, while practicals were conducted for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Art and Model Drawing, Food and Nutrition as well as Computer Science.
Results for the SSC Composite Examinations are expected to be released by the first week of July 2007.
